Summer Summit 2019: FAASU UNLIMITED

We welcomed students all over Florida to the University of South Florida for Summer Summit 2019. This year, we introduced FAASU UNLIMITED. We always love to see our AAPI community grow! We aim to break barriers by inspiring others to unlock their potential and shed light on representation of AAPI’s in all aspects of life.

Through this summit, we held multiple workshops on creative skills, leadership, and identities. Along with creating conversations aimed at engaging and enriching student leaders by presenters that understand what it means to be the change in your community, university, and as a person. 🤝

If you didn't get a chance to attend our summer summit, don't worry! We hold a summit each year.

The FAASU Summer Leader's Summit is an opportunity for new Asian and Pacific Islander American student leaders to network, educate themselves about our history as Asian Americans, and bond together as a Florida APIA community! The Summer Summit typically serves as the initial gathering of the newly elected executive boards of each of the schools elected in the late-Spring. At this retreat, student leaders from all over Florida collaborate to plan the initiatives for the APIA Florida community over the next year.

Summer Summit 2020

Date: Saturday, January 18-19, 2020

Location: Kissimmee, Florida

The FAASU Winter Retreat is the second, overnight leadership development program hosted by FAASU. It serves as a mid-academic year opportunity for our executive officer members to reflect on their organizations and develop effective leadership techniques. This retreat helps our attendees further understand APIA issues and exchange ideas in a diverse and inclusive setting. By strengthening inter-collegiate bonds and communities, we aim to empower the our APIA student leaders to continue to impact their local communities.
